Hello and welcome!

I’m Kristen, a former classroom teacher turned tutor and passionate advocate for children with learning differences. After more than 20 years in education, my career took a personal turn when my son was diagnosed with dyslexia. Learning about his challenges, and his incredible strengths, opened my eyes to how differently and brilliantly dyslexic minds work.

That experience inspired me to specialize in structured literacy and evidence-based reading instruction. Now, I help students build confidence, develop strong literacy skills, and rediscover the joy of learning. My goal is to empower children and families with the tools and understanding they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Sincerely,

Kristen Corwin smiling warmly in her kindergarten classroom, engaging with her seated students.
